With reference to the negotiation process which commenced in May 2015, the Republican Turkish Party ( CTP ) strongly emphasizes the importance of the statement made by President Akıncı on the 30th of April 2018.
In this context, we invite Excellencies Akıncı and Anastasiades, to resume negotiations within the framework of the “Guterres Document” aimed at reaching to a Federal solution without further delay. The document was presented by the UN Secretary General Guterres on the 30th of June 2017.

It is possible to achieve a conclusion for the greater good of both communities, through a result oriented negotiation process within the framework of the “Gutteres Document”, where the UN Secretary General plays an effective role.
We invite both Leaders to act courageously and to acknowledge this historic responsibility for the present and future of their communities;
